Open Talk is a newly launched format of our traditional DNA Talk. It is designed to promote the equal exchange of perspectives among our employees, therefore fostering our #ProgressiveLearning and #RespectTheDifference culture.

During our First Open Talk on SUSTAINABILITY last week, we discussed the various meanings of sustainability in different domains and whether it truly exists. The conversation was lively and insightful, with a variety of thoughts, constructive feedback, and inspiring ideas being shared.

We are excited to continue this dialogue in our next Open Talk and to implement some of the suggestions in our future projects.

Besides #DNATalks which encourage the exchange of personal viewpoints and personal experiences, we also have the #DNATraining series to sharpen DNAers' professional knowledge and skills.

Thuan Ngo - our Managing Director kicks off this year's program with Project Management 101 - a basic training of project, project management, and some relevant concepts such as stakeholder, RACI model, project life-cycle, and work breakdown structure. Although the session sounds quite challenging, we do have fun group work time to solve the given exercises.

A lot of knowledge and happiness are absorbed at the same time!

Believing that better communication rooted in a clearer understanding of emotions underlaid our communication inputs, speaker Quang Nguyễn recommends:

🤔 Recognizing our emotions, for example by tracking and studying the events that result in our uncommon feelings;

👂 Listening to others with an active and calm attitude;

Her sharing about some popular categories of Carbohydrates, Proteins, and Fats, as well as their value to our health, can be summarized into 3 focal points:

🍙 While selecting suppliers of Carbohydrates, consider their Glycaemic Index (GI).

🍗 Try to balance the intake amount of Animal Proteins vs Plant Proteins, also Red Meat vs White Meat.

🥑 Prioritize Unsaturated Fat, limit Saturated Fat, and prevent Trans-Fat.
